1021 Recoilless soft-face hammer
The head tube of the recoilless hammers is filled with steel shot. This has the effect that when the striking face hits the workpiece, the shot filling follows with a delay. Due to the reduced rebound, the impact energy is optimally utilized. This makes very powerful strikes possible. In addition, working with these hammers is much gentler on the joints and quieter as with ordinary steel hammers.
